LinCo Diesel Performance Motorsports 2017 Truck pull class rules

General rules:

All drivers must be of at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.

All trucks must be capable of being street legal- all street equipment must be installed unless otherwise specified per class rules. Driver’s seat belt  and at least one functional brake light mandatory.

DOT tires only.

All vehicles must pass tech inspection.

All vehicles will be weighed at tech inspection. No weight can be added to vehicle after inspection unless tech official is notified and vehicle is weighed again prior to pull.

All vehicles must have 4 functional hydraulic brakes.

Traction bars and spring clamps allowed in all classes. Bars can not be welded to frame or axle- must pivot at both ends. Brackets can be welded or bolted to frame/ axle.

No dual rear wheels unless factory installed.

Protest: any competitor may protest another competitor within their class. Protest fee is $25. Fee will be refunded to protestor if competitor’s vehicle is found to be illegal per class rules. If vehicle passes tech per class rules the fee money will be added to pot for that class. All decisions final per tech official.

All driver’s are responsible for removing parts necessary for tech official’s inspection- (air inlet to turbo)

Vehicles that do not pass tech inspection may run in a class as exhibition only at discretion of tech official. Vehicle will run first in class and not be eligible for prize money.

All vehicles must have a hitch or clevis with minimum 3-1/2’’ opening for hook point. Will not hook to bumper or chain unless approved by sled operator.

STREET STOCK GAS- 6200 lbs & 7500lbs:

Naturally aspirated gas engines only unless factory installed in production vehicle.

Pump gas only- no race fuel or alcohol allowed. No nitrous oxide.

Must have complete OEM dash and minimum 2 front seats. Complete Oem floor board and bed floor mandatory. Door panels and windows required. Hood required.

No open headers- exhaust must exit past driver’s compartment. Mufflers are NOT required.

Engine, transmission, transfer case and axles must have been commercially available in a one ton or smaller truck.

40’’ max tire height- Dot tires only.

26” max hitch height. Reese style hitch only- no draw bar hitches allowed. Frame reinforcement’s allowed but must not extend beyond center line of rear axle.  No bracing to axle allowed.

Blocks will be allowed. Rear suspension must have a minimum 1 inch of travel with blocks installed.

Air bags will be allowed.

6200 pound max weight. Ballast can be added to truck but must be secured.  No hanging weights. Batteries can not be mounted further forward than radiator. Tech official has final say on ballast/ safety.

STREET STOCK DIESEL- 8500 LBS:

Limited to light duty diesel engines factory installed in one ton or smaller trucks only.

Must have complete OEM dash and minimum 2 front seats. Complete OEM floor board and bed floor mandatory. Door panels and windows required. Hood required.

Engine, transmission, transfer case and axles must have been commercially available in a one ton or smaller truck.

Limited to stock appearing single turbo charger only unless factory installed (6.4 Power Stroke).

Aftermarket compressor wheels allowed but must retain factory inducer bore size.

No hood stacks allowed. Exhaust must exit past driver’s compartment.

#2 DIESEL FUEL ONLY. No propane, water methanol or nitrous oxide allowed. No fuel cells.

Stock appearing fuel system- No dual injection pump or HPOP allowed. Aftermarket electric lift pumps allowed ( FASS, AIR DOG ect).

37 inch max tire height- DOT tires only.

26” max hitch height. Reese style hitch only- no draw bar hitches allowed. Frame reinforcement’s allowed but must not extend beyond center line of rear axle.  No bracing to axle allowed.

Blocks will be allowed. Rear suspension must have a minimum of 1 inch of travel with blocks installed.

MODIFIED STREET DIESEL- 8500LBS:

Limited to light duty diesel engines factory installed in one ton or smaller trucks only.

Must have complete OEM dash and minimum 2 front seats. Complete OEM floor board and bed floor mandatory. Door panels and windows required. Hood required.

Engine, transmission, transfer case and axles must have been commercially available in a one ton or smaller truck.

#2 DIESEL FUEL ONLY. No propane, water methanol or nitrous oxide allowed. No fuel cells.

Limited to single small frame turbo charger unless factory equipped (6.4 Power Stroke). Inducer bore must not exceed 69.05MM before and after MAP groove. Turbo must be mounted in factory location.

No hood stacks allowed. Exhaust must exit past driver’s compartment.

Fuel system limited to single injection pump or HPOP. Aftermarket lift pumps allowed ( FASS, Air Dog ect.)

37 inch max tire height- DOT tires only.

26” max hitch height. Reese style hitch only- no draw bar hitches allowed. Frame reinforcement’s allowed but must not extend beyond center line of rear axle. No bracing to rear axle allowed.

Blocks will be allowed. Rear suspension must have a minimum of 1 inch of travel with blocks installed.

Air bags allowed.

HOT STREET DIESEL- 8500 LBS:

Limited to light duty diesel engines factory installed in one ton or smaller trucks only.

Must have complete OEM dash and minimum 2 front seats. Complete OEM floor board and bed floor mandatory. Door panels and windows required. Hood required.

Engine, transmission, transfer case and axles must have been commercially available in a one ton or smaller truck.

#2 diesel fuel, water methanol and propane allowed. No nitrous oxide. No fuel cells.

Maximum 2 turbo chargers or one turbo and one super charger allowed. Max inducer bore allowed on any turbo 80.05MM. Limited to T4 flange turbo(s) only.

Air to air intercoolers only.

No individual runner intakes allowed.

Dual injection pumps or HPOP allowed. Inline pumps limited to one plunger per cylinder- no v style inlines. No AG governors allowed.

No hood stacks allowed.

No trans brakes allowed.

35” max tire height- dot tires only.

24” max hitch height. Reese style hitch only- no draw bar hitches allowed. Frame reinforcement’s allowed but must not extend beyond center line of rear axle. No bracing to rear axle allowed.

Blocks allowed. No minimum free travel on rear suspension- must have rear springs installed.

Air bags allowed.

8500 lbs max weight. Ballast can be added to truck but must be secured.  No hanging weights. Batteries can not be mounted further forward than radiator. Tech official has final say on ballast/ safety.

 

OPEN STREET DIESEL- 9500 lbs:

Must appear streetable. Headlights may be removed. Mirrors and wipers not required. Must have one working brake light.

Must have complete dash and driver’s seat. Complete floor board and bed floor mandatory. All windows must be installed. Hood required.

Engine, transmission, transfer case and axles must have been commercially available in a one ton or smaller truck.

#2 diesel fuel, water methanol and propane allowed.

Nitrous oxide allowed- must have fire suit if running NOS.

Fuel cells allowed- can not be mounted inside driver’s compartment.

Any turbo charger set up allowed.

Aftermarket intake manifolds allowed- individual runner, side draft ect.

Air to Air intercoolers only.

Trans brakes allowed.

Hood stacks allowed.

Hanging weights allowed but must not extend beyond 60’’ from centerline of front axle.

Blocks allowed- must have rear springs installed.

DOT tires only- 35’’ max diameter. Dual rear wheels allowed.

24” max hitch height. Reese style hitch only- no draw bar hitches allowed. Frame reinforcement’s allowed but must not extend beyond center line of rear axle. No bracing to rear axle allowed.

Drive shaft safety hoops encouraged.

9500 lbs max. Ballast may be added to truck but must be secured.

June 24 @ Silex, MO Track 5 pm start- Tech starts @ 2 pm- All classes will be ran. Featuring MEAN GREEN sled. 

July 27 @ St. Charles County Fair- Tech starts @ 6 pm- All classes will be ran. Featuring MEAN GREEN sled.

September 2 @ Wentzville VFW 5 pm start- Tech starts @ 2 pm- All classes will be ran. Mean Green sled.

October 7 @ silex fall festival- 5pm start- tech in starts @ 2 pm- All classes plus out of field tractors- Mean Green sled.
